Pleasant spacious house in Milford, Auckland.

The downstairs room is coming available mid September. We are welcoming back, for possibly only a few months, a lovely Chinese female graduate student. So, keep in mind that the upstairs room might become available. This could become an opportunity to share a house with a friend!

Both rooms are reasonable doubles which have a single bed and are furnished for a student. Both have at least the equivalent of a good-sized single wardrobe.
Comfortable bedding, heater etc Towels and linen provided if you like. Internet is Fibre, and a mesh system in the house means reception is great.
The kitchen is spacious. You are welcome to have friends around and cook special meals with them if you like. Apart from the ensuite (for myself and husband), there are two other bathrooms (both recently renovated!). We also have a room downstairs with table tennis table, great if you’re having friends around. (Son lives here - we no longer look after the cat!) A nice deck outdoor area, but as we’re still in winter, the sun isn’t around enough!

Materials provided to get your own lunch and breakfast.
Dinner provided, as I’m used to being in the kitchen. Plenty of room though, for your snacks etc or extras in the kitchen. However, there may be times when you will be cooking for yourself / yourselves with the food provided.

Quiet off-street parking in cul de sac. On bus routes to city, etc. Auckland city is ‘across the bridge!’ Close to Milford Mall/ bus stops 10 mins Distance to Milford beach 1.4km. Takapuna library – (walking 44 min 3km) Smales Farm bus station is 2.2kms away

Couple in active 60s. One son at home, in early 30s; he’s ex BCom/LLB UoA . Sometimes my husband or I would be out of Auckland, on holiday or visiting family.
Prefer student/s or person/s in professional role, who would be pleasant to have around when studying or working from home.

The homestay fee of $350 includes meals. Occasionally you may need to cook for yourself with food provided. This is a home for nice, civilised people. Please clean bathroom and kitchen after use.
