Hey there! We’re on the lookout for a new housemate to join our friendly flat. We’ve got a room available offering stunning views of the Kaimai range.

Rent: $210 per week (expenses not included) Bathroom: Shared main bathroom with one other flatmate Weekly Expenses: Approx. $58 for internet, power, Netflix, etc.

Located in Welcome Bay, our place is fully fenced and has two bathrooms. The shared bathroom has a bath; perfect for a long soak with your favourite candle or bath salts. Just 15-20 minutes away from Mount Maunganui and the Tauranga CBD. Living, dining, and kitchen areas are fully furnished, has a wood burner to keep winter cozy and a heat pump to take the edge off the cold early mornings. The two-car garage is perfect for storage or a work space. Off street parking available. Garden has citrus and fruit trees, plus space to start your own small veggie or flower patch. Bus stops at the bottom of the drive, and access to Johnson Reserve with several tracks through native bush. Close to a petrol station, Welcome Bay shops, and other parks. We have a dog who loves cuddles and is always available for walks but is pretty chill and happy on her bed.

Late 20s Female Head Tenant: working professional, loves classic sitcoms, cooking, and spending time around the garden and with family. Early 30s Male: working professional, occasionally travels to Auckland for work. Studying part-time. Enjoys cooking, gardening, seeing friends, and hiking.

We’re both pretty laid-back, enjoy a good chat now and then, and aim to keep a comfortable home environment. While we prefer a relaxed approach to cleaning, we do expect everyone to pitch in when they can without needing reminders. If you can’t do your share within the week, just let us know. Communication is really valued by both of us to ensure no issues build up.

Ideal Flatmate would be a working professional, preferably mid 20s-30s. Clean, tidy, easygoing and respectful.
