The room comes with a queen bed, large double wardrobe, and chest of drawers (in the wardrobe and can be moved). The room has space for a small desk (not provided but could be for a postgraduate student). The sunny lounge has a heat pump and is well insulated. The house is healthy homes compliant. The kitchen has gas hobs, microwave, a dishwasher, and a fridge-freezer. The laundry has a front-loader washing machine. The house has infinity gas hot water. There is a compact low-maintenance backyard with BBQ. It is 12 minutes’ walk from Waterloo train station and one minute away from a bus stop for the 121 bus and five minutes’ walk from the Open Polytechnic. Weekly price includes unlimited internet. Additional shared expenses are flat expenses and power (estimated at around NZ$25/week which may increase in winter to cover extra power). Ideal flatmate is a female non-smoker and respectful of common spaces and pays on time. Will consider short-term stays.
